Did you ever think you would own a hammer to do scrapbooking? A hammer is just one of the tools you will need to set an eyelet onto your scrapbooking page.
Like all embellishments, eyelets come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. An eyelet consists of a decorative top and a tube in the back. The tube when pounded with a hammer, fastens the eyelet to your scrapbook page. But, let's back up.
To set an eyelet, you'll need a hole punch, a setting tool, the aforementioned hammer and a setting mat. See the Supplies and Tools section for these items.
First, decide where to put your eyelet and use the hole punch to put a hole in your scrapbook page. Put the eyelet in the hole (tube side down). Turn your page over (with the eyelet in it) on top of the setting mat so that the eyelet is laying flat on the mat with the tube up. Place the setting tool (tip side down) into the eyelet tube and pound the top of the tool with the hammer. You're done!
